About
Built for one kitchen.
isna did not come out of market research. It came out of one household needing its appointments, papers, deadlines and expenses in one place, and no existing tool doing the thing that mattered: they all assumed the whole family would log in every day.

They do not. So the first rule of this product is that it has to be useful when only one person is signed in. Everything else follows from that.
For a year before anyone else could use it, isna ran one real family — with real passports, real registrations and real bills. That is why there is a field for "where the original is kept", and why there is no scoring of chores.
Who builds it

Edvin Kovacevic, a software engineer in Novi Pazar, Serbia. One person writing the code, answering support and keeping the server running. That has drawbacks and advantages, and it is more honest to name both.
The drawback. there is no team of fifty and no round-the-clock support. Email is answered within two working days, not in ten minutes.
The advantage. there are no investors who need growth at any cost, no pressure to add a feed and ads, and no quarterly plan that requires breaking the free tier. The product should pay for itself through subscriptions, and that is the entire business model.
What if you stop maintaining it?. A fair question about a one-person product. That is why exporting everything has existed since day one and is not hidden: a ZIP with every record and every file, in a format readable without isna. If this ever shuts down, you get notice in advance and the data stays yours.
How it got here
2023
The finances live in a notebook. Every receipt written out by hand.
2024
The notebook becomes a spreadsheet. Formulas take over the adding up.
2025
Friends and family ask for the same spreadsheet. I make them copies.
2026
Copies stop being enough. isna is built.
Start with the one deadline you cannot afford to miss.
